The plot revolves around Kaede helping these two girls conquer their fear of swimming. Instead of just being an average guy who immediately has a horde of women fawn over him, Sakura Swim Club only has two female leads who the main character, Kaede, must help. It may seem like just another run-of-the-mill visual novel where an average high school guy bumps into a beautiful girl but it does try to deviate from the norm a bit.

The uncensored scenes, not found in the Steam version of the game, unfortunately, are also beautifully drawn. In fact, the artwork is the reason why many choose Sakura Swim Club as their first game in the Sakura series. The artwork is arguably one of the best of the series.
